This is the first time I ever attempted to knit something with a design, according to a rather simple pattern.
I knew I was in for trouble when I got several rows in and realized my # of stitches was off.
I realized I’d also fragged up when I was finished and looking more closely at what I’d done.

I’m not sure how well you can see it from the picture, but on the left hand side there’s a big oops..it kinda looks like Mickey is sticking his tongue out or something.
Oh well..I made it for my son who won’t care. :D
Looks like Mickey either has something really big in his mouth, or maybe some kind of tumor! :)
I think I like knitters. As a group, they seem unafraid to publish their failures! :) You’d never see a “scrapbook failure” on here. lol. (I have some scrapbook failures, but I ain’t sharing. :p )

You’re absolutely right. My MIL is a scrapbooker/rubber stamper/card maker and she gets so PISSED when she makes mistakes that are jus complete fail.
I see it as a learning process and laugh about it, though because I’m so used to failing spectacularly.
That looks about like my CrochetFails, all of them, so yeah, I’ve given up on crocheting, LOL. Mine are ALL that horrifying!
