Subject: Union Jack Tuque (or canoe?)
My stepmother is an experienced knitter and crafter, however when she decided to make this tuque for my British brother-in-law she had no idea how wrong it would all turn out! Thinking it was so large because it would be felted, and not having made a project with 6 balls of yarn at the same time (I don’t know what you call that, but she said it was very confusing to assemble! um, obviously!), she continued on until the end… when it came out looking like a giant tea cozy for an army’s worth of tea! I think she’s offered to cut two holes and add suspenders to make it into a pair of swimming trunks for him instead of the modest tuque that she had planned!
Haha looks like England is doomed for :P
To be fair, it is a rather nifty tea cozy.
