One of our most popular fail ingredients is resin. The reason? Resin is not a beginner’s medium. And, if you have never used resin, you are a beginner, and there are bound to be some mishaps as you learn how resin behaves.

If you are going to try resin out, I suggest trying a tried-and-proven craft project. Don’t try doing something you have never seen anyone else do. Like dipping flowers in resin.
Also, don’t do something that you have no reason to do. Like dipping flowers in resin.
Also, don’t do something that will look ridiculous even if it works out. Like dipping flowers in resin.
I had this vague idea that dipping ugly dollar store faux flowers would be improved by dipping them in resin. Turns out, they aren’t. Especially if you set them flower face-down and let the resin stick to the drying surface.
I have to get this off my chest, so check out my video confessional:
Awww fail. I thought the yellow ones were thumbtacks at first. Sorry :(
Thanks for the info. I will be sure to take this tip in mind. Great lesson for all, and when all fails try and try again.
