Duct Tape crafts are so hot right now, and so much fun because there are so many cute colors and patterns of duct tape available. You can mix and match or make something in a solid color. I was inspired by this Hello Kitty Duct Tape to make a hat for my daughter.
Note: When making a duct tape hat, you’ll want to make sure to measure and leave extra room in the crown of the hat so that it fits correctly. Adding layers of duct tape to a precisely measured piece without extra room can result in the hat being too small.
I measured my child’s head and made the entire project without measuring as I went to make sure things continued to fit… 4 layers of duct tape layer, it didn’t so well! :D
Lucky for my daughter, her dolly needed a matching duct tape hat!
