I saw this cute little beaded flower ring from The Cheese Thief, watched the video, and thought, hmm. That’s looks easy enough!
Hmph. Yeah, sure. My “pearls” were a little bigger than the one’s in her ring but I thought it would be fine, especially since she was using cheap plastic beads in her video tutorial. I tried thread the first few times and it just looked funky. The beads didn’t align (even worse than my picture) and it just looked terrible. I switched to beading wire and tried a few more times and this was by far my best result. I still plan on trying this some more, because I’m stubborn and apparently love punishment. Maybe I’ll get it eventually.

oh no! Still pretty… could be a necklace pendant!
I made this same mistake! It’s really simple to fix. All you have to do is this – when you’re starting on your next flower, turn the ring so that your string is going UP into the previous flower. TA DA!
I actually did this one, I swear it took me over an hour to get it right…but it looked good once it was done.
