Admittedly, I don’t know a lot about sports, but I’m pretty sure that’s not exactly what a softball looks like. A little mottled and blurry, maybe they’re inspired by the view of a fast pitch whizzing by at 95 miles per hour. Or maybe they’re a lesson in switching to decaf before doing your decorating.

I really don’t think those look too bad; not sure if I’d call that a fail so much as poor execution.
I think with a skinnier tip on a frosting bag, instead of those ready to go frosting gels from the cereal aisle, you’d nail it for real. But this one seems like it is actually a successful recreation.
