These chocolate-dipped, candy-covered pretzel sticks by the baker chick have so many layers of goodness, I don’t even know where to start.
No, I don’t mean I don’t know where to start with my description, I mean I don’t know which end of the plate to start scarfing from first. Obviously.
Reader Tara was inspired by a similar treat. It was more holiday-themed, but used the same basic idea: pretzel rods dipped in chocolate, coated in chunky bits of candy, drizzled with more chocolate. With those ingredients, you’re sure to achieve perfection!
Unless you’re a proud craft failer, and then you’re sure to achieve… that. Tara says the chocolate wouldn’t melt right and the candy wouldn’t stick – but at least it made a huge mess in her kitchen! That’s okay. If her house is anything like mine, a chocolate-based mess won’t last very long.
For more laughs, join Robyn at Hollow Tree Ventures, where her messes are mostly of the non-edible bad decision variety.
I’d still eat the heck out of those!
I have to say my daughter and I made these over ten years ago….we did Carmel then in chocolate and drizzled with white chocolate…….u have to just have everything right temp and I am proud to say…they were beautiful…so sometime they do turn out!!
STILL LOOKZ GOOD……….TO ME
