Deflated Double Cookie

Oreo-Stuffed-Chocolate-Chip-Cookies-4

If there’s anything better than a cookie, it’s two cookies. But I can’t be expected to eat two separate cookies – who has that kind of time? The kids would walk in on me before I could finish the second one, and then I’d have to share. The horror!

When I need two cookies and I need them NOW, the best solution I’ve found is to stuff one inside the other, like in this Oreo-stuffed chocolate chip cookie¬†recipe by Picky Palate. I get the satisfaction of gobbling up two cookies, but in half the time, which helps when you aren’t the only cookie fan in the house.

Reader Cady, however, was going out her way to share when she tried to cook up this tasty combo as a treat for her co-workers. She measured, she mixed, she bonded the cookies and baked. How did all that work stack up?

That means I’m going to have to eat twice as many to reach my cookie quota – I guess I’ll have to wait until the kids are asleep if I want these all to myself.

Oh shoot, I’d gobble those suckers right up, no matter HOW they looked! Heck, you don’t even have to COOK ‘em! Just dunk the Oreos into the raw cookie dough — and you’re good to go!
