Crappy Carrot Cupcakes


Everyone knows that the worst part about vegetables (besides that healthy taste) is all the pesky nutrition they have. Well, these carrot cupcakes from Hostess With the Mostess take care of all your vegetable-related complaints by replacing the fiber with buttercream icing, the bland flavor with chocolate cake, and the vitamin A with glittery sprinkles!

They’re great treats for Easter, but CraftFail reader Beth realized they’d be perfect for her 2-year-old’s “down on the farm” themed birthday party, too.

Or they would have been, if her version looked anything like carrots.

Luckily, kids aren’t too particular about eating their vegetables – as long as the carrots are actually made out of sugar and cake, they’ll clean their plates every time.

    I bet if you used green food coloring you could make cute little pine trees! Stick some mini m&ms on them and you’ve got Christmas treats! ;-) I bet they were yummy, regardless of what they looked like.
