It’s food like this Chocolate Caramel Marshmallow Whiskey Bacon Bark from The Kitchen Prep that reminds me why I don’t cook.
First of all, I rarely have more than three ingredients on hand, and that’s only if I’m counting tap water as an ingredient.
Secondly, I would never, ever, EVER in a million years think of pairing marshmallow with whiskey. I pair whiskey with ice cubes and a glass or, if I’m in a hurry, a simple brown paper bag. I pair marshmallows with campfires, into which I let the marshmallows fall to their fiery demise because (as I’ve mentioned) marshmallows are gross.
But thirdly, I don’t cook because if I did, I’d be tempted to make this recipe in spite of the first two points, and then I’d most likely fall in love with it and eat it for every meal until I had to move into our garage because I couldn’t fit through any of our doorways anymore.
