These rainbow pinwheel cookies (original recipe by Shelly Ruybalid on Souders Studios) look super-complicated, but the recipe is surprisingly simple. All you have to do is tint sugar cookie dough different colors, and roll it up according to the easy instructions. The hardest part sounds like not eating all the cookie dough before you’ve baked it!
Except for in the case of CraftFail reader Katherine, whose mistake was… not following the easy instructions. The recipe she used called for mixing the various colors of dough together with a spoon. Here’s what happens if you use a beater instead.
