NO FEAR!!!!!!!! I love that you took these photos- that you tried- that you admitted it was not a project for you. GO ON GIRL!!! I think your next project will be great. I personally don't think this is a project that would look good on anyone who isn't an underfed stick figure- and 7 feet tall.

"What's with the extra flappy material at the middle there? Oh, it's pockets, I see. Huh." I said to myself. Why would it have pockets like that right there? Fail indeed, thank you!

I share your pain. A couple of years ago someone gave me a book by the same woman on all the things you can make out of t-shirts - none of which look better than the original, baggy old t-shirt! I'm just grateful that I didn't receive it when I was 15 and might have been persuaded that putting safety pins and holes in my tops was a good idea!

I think this might work with a different fabric for the skirt though. There are lots in shops with a t-shirt top and more structured skirt attached. (I might not risk it though!)

hahahahahahaha! Oh thank you so much!
I am a craft lover - all be it a rather untalented one, who has just spent the last hour drooling over craft blogs of the "perfect" kind.
I have been left both inspired - and slightly depressed.
It must after all be simple to acheive perfect - for all but me!
Thank you for sharing your crafting mishaps and allowing me to feel a little less alone in my failures!

I don't think I've EVER had a clothing item turn out well... I give you props for sharing your fail! I wish I had my clothing fails still so I could post them here for everyone to laugh about.
